I had everything planned.
Two cameras, two tripods, batteries charged, all ready. Even the field I'd planned to take my ISS images.
I got to the place in plenty of time & even brought two of my kids along for the experience as normally I go out shooting the night sky when they are asleep.
I looked down to my phone to check the time & I thought I'd still a minute or two to go & then I saw it, flying away from the moon already. I hadn't spotted the ISS before she passed in front of the moon, so I didn't get to take an image of the moon with the ISS in shot.
Despite my disappointment, I was very happy with the shot above, showing the trail of the ISS moving away from the moon & the Milky Way above.
Next time, eh? Next time.
